You might have purchased or rented your drone, but you still have a lot of o responsibility on your hands. Yes, they help you in providing amazing videos and photos but you still got to makes sure that your amazingly cheap drone is safe and secure. Here are a few tips you can bring to use to keep your drone safe:


Choose the right surroundings


It should be an open area, especially if you are a beginner at flying drones. If the interference are minimal, even if you make a right instead of left, you won’t face any damage or end up hitting a building or make your drone fall in someone else’s yard. Along with it, the environment you are flying it in should be appropriate. Too windy might interfere with the movement of your drone and break it. A sunny weather will minimize its chances of the crash.


Fly it when it’s fully charged


You don’t want your drone to stop working in the middle of its flight. Hence, before you start using it, charge its battery full. Although don’t overcharge otherwise, it would degrade the battery backup. Remove it from charging on time. Similarly, try not to store the battery for a long duration. It is also going to make it weak. Charge the drone and then, use it side by side.


You need to check the propellers time to time


Propellers are there on the drone to create a good amount of thrust, so the drone could fly. If there are any cracks in it, it might cause a bit of trouble for the drone. Also, there should be no dints or dust trapped in it. Clean it on regular basis or get it serviced often to ensure that the drone will fly smoothly.


Don’t forget to calibrate the compass


For safety purposes, you must calibrate the compass to so the drone has an appropriate orientation. Otherwise, it is not going to follow directions that well on its flight.


The controller must be ready


Before you switch on the drone, the remote control should be on. This way, the craft would be under control. Otherwise, it has a risk of taking the flight the minute you switch it on.


The propellers should be removed after the flight


Not only would it be easier for you to store the drone without the propellers, your drone will be safe from all the kicks and damage when you are traveling.
